OCD + Anxiety

We all have moments where we struggle with anxiety. Sometimes this is due to instability or fear. This can also manifest into beliefs and behaviors in order to create a sense of safety and control. When working with anxiety and OCD I support my clients through exploring intrusive thoughts in order to better understand them, connecting them to past experience or existential fear. Adding in coping skills, mindfulness, exposure response prevention, and somatic therapy can decrease symptoms and create a more relaxed daily experience. It is important to find ways to move through these feelings and experiences without letting it fully consume us and our lives. The right tools and exploration will help you get there.
