Eyemovement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR is a type of trauma therapy to support connecting with your body while targeting a specific past traumatic event. It can help speed up the processing of past trauma significantly. I have seen it make huge differences in people's lives. EMDR uses bi-lateral stimulation or different eye-movement techniques to increase the processing of the past event. It results in being able to engage in this past event with a lower to minimal level of dysregulation.
